A Summer Wedding at The Mount

Caroline and Josh had one of the most picturesque summer days for their wedding at The Mount in Lenox, MA this past July. If you have never been to The Mount, you should definitely visit. You can tour the historic home of author Edith Wharton, enjoy the beautiful gardens, talk a stroll down the lime walk, sit on the terrance overlooking the property, or enjoy free jazz concerts that are hosted throughout the summer on Friday nights! A landmark of the Berkshires, The Mount is one of our favorite locations.

The ceremony took place in the English garden, followed by cocktails in the walled garden, and dinner on the terrace. We helped them design and create their wedding programs, which complemented the look of their wedding invitations. The always beautiful arrangements and candles from Crocus Hale Flowers spanned the long line of dining tables on the terrace while the delicious food by Max Ultimate welcomed guests to their seats. Music from the Rosamund Trio played during dinner, and afterwards, the party was brought inside where guests danced the night away to tunes by the Bob Charest Band. They are one of the best wedding bands we have ever worked with, and I don't think one person sat down all evening. An after party was thrown at a friend's house nearby, and at the end of the evening, the shuttles brought all of the guests there to continue the celebration. Eventiques Wedding and Event Flea Market

If you couldn't make it to our 2014 Eventiques Flea Market event, you are in luck! We are hosting another Wedding and Event Flea Market in 2015 on April 11th and 12th.

What is this event you ask? Eventiques wedding and event flea market was founded by Ruthie and Lauren of Eutopia Events and is focused on helping people find decorative elements all in one location! Décor from past events is given new life by being reused or re-purposed for someone else’s wedding, shower, even a birthday party. Looking for something old, something new, or something borrowed? You will find carefully selected, used event décor, vintage goods, wedding gowns, unique rentals, and handmade and locally sourced pieces for your wedding or special celebration.

Our last event took place at Eastworks in their events space. It was a fun-filled day for brides, grooms, event planners, photographers, designers, and people who just loved to shop! If you are in the market for event items, you can purchase tickets for our Spring event online for only $5. Door tickets will be $8 the weekend of the event. This year's event will be hosted in a much larger space than in 2014. We're very busy working on filling the space with inspiration, event items, local merchants, and much more!

Congratulations Nicole and Mike!

We had an amazing time assisting Nicole and Mike with their wedding day at the Falcon's Game Friday at the MassMutual Center. This couple won a complete wedding package sponsored by Hannoush Jewelers. A really sweet couple who deserved to have a perfect wedding day! We were thrilled to be a part of their day. We hope it was everything they imagined it to be!

Wedding on Ice!!

We have been asked to assist in the Day-of Coordination for Hannoush Jewelers Wedding on Ice in January! We are really excited that CJC Events asked us to help the couple on their wedding day. A Perfect Country Wedding

We recently had the pleasure of coordinating a beautiful country wedding in Deerfield Massachusetts. The ceremony and reception were set within an apple orchard at Clarkdale Fruit Farms, on the property where the bride grew up. The weather was amazing, the setting was as though it was plucked from a storybook and the couple who were married, were two of the most beautiful people we've had the honor of working with! Congratulations to Abby and Tom on their marriage! Their wedding was classy, vibrant and fun! A true reflection of the couple and their personalities.

Glowing in the Rain?

What a cool concept by Bright Night! These umbrellas light up! We love the design and practicality of this umbrella. We especially love the idea of using them for a wedding! Not that any couple particularly wants a rainy wedding day, but these sure could brighten it a bit and make for some unique photographs.

The Big Day! Cape Cod Part II

The wedding day. Gorgeous weather, beautiful location, and an amazing couple. We couldn't be happier for Sasha and Chris!

Lauren was on site for this wedding; Ruthie was at a wedding for a personal friend. No fear though, Lauren and her husband Mike had it under control! Everything turned out beautifully. And from what we've been told, the day ran very smoothly.

Cape Cod Wedding Part I

As many of you know, a lot of work goes into a wedding. One of the many reasons we are here is to help alleviate some of the stress that can come with planning and preparation. For us, planning an event is a fun and creative process. After all, we wouldn't be doing this if we didn't love it!

As we shared with you in an earlier post, our Iron Bride Sasha and her fiancé Chris were to be married September 19th. There were many steps taken by all parties to put together a beautiful wedding for this amazing couple. From the flowers, table runners, centerpieces to the place cards and more, we helped Sasha and Chris achieve the beautiful Cape Cod wedding they were hoping for.

Before we get to share photos from the wedding, here are some photos of how we got to the final result. After all, sometimes the trip can be almost as fun as the destination!

Tammy & Kevin Part II
