Vintage Mod
Thank you to all the wonderful couples, friends and family members we met and spoke with at the Western New England Bridal expo this year at the MassMutual Center. We had fun getting to know you! Thank you also for participating in our Trivia Game. We had a lot of really great sports out there! The winner of the Trivia raffle was Sarah Skrodzki!! Congratulations on winning a FREE Day-of Coordination from Eutopia Events!
At this Show, we entered into the table top design contest. Our table top design was a little bit vintage, a little bit mod. We love to mix things up a bit. We coordinated our booth design with our table top design (of course!). We used teal and yellow and incorporated some lace and frills. We didn't win the table top contest, but we had fun trying. We appreciate all the votes we did get though, thank you for the support!
Thank you Michelle Girard Photography for the great pictures of our table top design! She took some really nice photos at the expo on Sunday.
Also a special thank you to A Perfect Setting for the rentals. These items included the chairs, yellow table cloth, chargers and place settings.
Some of the other items on our table were found at Target (teal plates, centerpiece elements, yellow napkins), Pier 1 (lace napkins and napkin rings), Pottery Barn (gold-rimmed plates), Marshal's (lace overlay), Joanne's Fabrics (fabric for the chair ties—handmade by Eutopia).

Romantic Summer Wedding
One of our weddings this summer was nothing short of charming and romantic. Tatiana and Josh were married this summer and it was a gorgeous wedding! The rainy weather didn't stop this wedding from being anything but bright and cheerful. The sun even peeked its head out for the ceremony and some pictures. Just perfect!
The wedding ceremony took place on the bride's family farm in Deerfield, MA. The bride was driven to the ceremony by her father in horse and carriage. A sweet and romantic start to the wedding. The reception was held at the Hotel Northampton.
Elisabeth Millay photography did an absolutely amazing job on the photos for our couple. Thank you Elisabeth and her assistant Kelly! You can visit Elisabeth's Blog to a few more photos from the wedding. All of the photos below are copyright of Elisabeth Millay Photography.

Something Sweet!
We recently did a wedding and had the great pleasure of working with Michelle from Something Sweet by Michelle. Check out this gorgeous cake she did for our couple! None of those flowers are real, they are all sugar! A lot of time and energy went into making this cake and it shows. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted just as fabulous! Thank you Michelle!

Candy Candy!
We were recently featured in an article for Worcestor Living about candy buffets. As you may have seen from our previous post, candy buffets are one of our many services we provide to clients. Read the article here. Perhaps a candy buffet is a perfect fit for your wedding or special event?

Western New England Bridal Expo 2011
It has been a while since we posted and we apologize for that. We hope to increase the frequency of our posts in order to bring you inspirational ideas, etiquette guidance, planning suggestions, and more!
On March 6th, Eutopia Events exhibited at the Western New England Bridal Show at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Ma. It was our first "big" expo and we wanted to make a statement! By the responses we got to our booth, I'd say we succeeded.
For the design, we were going for spring! Colors were green and pink, a very popular color palette this year. We also wanted to bring in a bit of nature to our table setting. We used birch bark vases for our centerpieces and we used rattan chargers. Hints of bright pink brought some pop to the design without overwhelming it. Overall the decor was sophisticated but also very sweet and natural. We did all our own floral arrangements, made the birch bark vases and designed the menus that you see. These are all services we can provide to our clients.
As a treat, we designed and set up a candy buffet for guests to enjoy. Candy buffets are also a very popular feature for today's weddings. The buffet can serve as favors for wedding guests or in addition to the cake.
Lastly, we had entered a cake into the expo's cake contest and won! We were thrilled to win the bride's choice award at this show. We appreciate all the wonderful comments that were shared with us about the design. We were shooting for a spring look that tied into the theme of our booth. Thank you for your votes!
It was a fun event and we want to thank all of the guests who stopped by our booth to say hello. We enjoyed meeting many wonderful brides and grooms and their friends and family. Thank you also to CJC Events for hosting a beautiful expo! They put a lot of work into this show and they are very passionate about what they do. To take a look at additional photos from this years expo, visit CJC's Facebook Page.
We also want to thank A Perfect Setting for providing the tablecloths, chairs and place settings for our booth.
