Eventiques Wedding and Event Flea Market

If you couldn't make it to our 2014 Eventiques Flea Market event, you are in luck! We are hosting another Wedding and Event Flea Market in 2015 on April 11th and 12th.

What is this event you ask? Eventiques wedding and event flea market was founded by Ruthie and Lauren of Eutopia Events and is focused on helping people find decorative elements all in one location! Décor from past events is given new life by being reused or re-purposed for someone else’s wedding, shower, even a birthday party. Looking for something old, something new, or something borrowed? You will find carefully selected, used event décor, vintage goods, wedding gowns, unique rentals, and handmade and locally sourced pieces for your wedding or special celebration.

Our last event took place at Eastworks in their events space. It was a fun-filled day for brides, grooms, event planners, photographers, designers, and people who just loved to shop! Check out some of the photos below from last year's event, photographed by Cronin Hill Photography. Cronin Hill Photography is one of our fabulous sponsors for 2015!

If you are in the market for event items, you can purchase tickets for our Spring event online for only $5. Door tickets will be $8 the weekend of the event. This year's event will be hosted in a much larger space than in 2014. We're very busy working on filling the space with inspiration, event items, local merchants, and much more!

Here are the people who help to bring Eventiques Wedding and Event Flea Market to life. A lot of hard work goes into creating an event like this and we are so fortunate to have some great people on our team.  We're looking forward to this year's Eventiques Flea Market!

It's O"Fish"al

Eutopia Events has been very busy this summer, which is a good thing! Even with everything going on, we are still able to squeeze in time to plan our own personal events. Lauren's husband Mike turned 30 in July and, of course, there had to be a party! (It was a surprise). People would expect nothing less from an event planner.

This party was equipped with fishy cupcakes and fishy sugar cookies, tables covered in fish nets, buoy accents, a fishing derby and prizes... are you noticing a theme yet? Lauren's husband Mike loves to fish! It was a colorful and fun party.

The invitation and information card for the party. Be sure to read them. Very clever stuff! All designed and written by the talented Miss Lauren.

A few pics of the decorations, tables, and party goers! (and Mike's surprised face!)
It was pouring outside, so Mike arrived a little wet.

Everyone had a good time, despite the rain. It even cleared up later and a few of us got to go out on the boats and fish. Perfect way to end the day! Mike had a great 30th birthday.

Monkey Business

Monkeys are popular! We've had a few orders for monkey cupcakes lately. We recently had a special order for pink ones and we couldn't resist posting them! They were made of dark chocolate cake with vegan frosting and mini sugar cookies. They were for a little girl's 2nd birthday! It was evident by her very large collection of stuffed monkeys, she was a huge fan!

Big thanks going out to Brent Hale for taking some great photos!

Delectable Diva

Divas are high maintenance but we don't mind. Our cupcakes and cake made one particular diva customer very happy. They were for her 60th birthday and what better way to celebrate than with a stylish set of delectable desserts? Complete with tiara and chocolate high-heel shoes, these desserts were dressed for the party. We did orange and green per her request. A very subtle diva palette. Our favorite feature with these were the filigree cupcake wraps from Paper Orchid.

Fishy First Birthday

We've had a slew of cake orders lately. We did these Under the Sea themed cupcakes and smash cake for a special little guy's first birthday. We had a great deal of fun with these. They were a hit with the party guests too!

A Little Lady's First Birthday

We recently planned a first birthday party for my daughter Gloria. It was small and simple, perfect for a one-year-old. It was a lady bug themed party with hints of summer. We made all the cupcakes, food and decorations. In lieu of gifts, we asked guests to make a donation to a local children's hospital.
